Ted Chandler and Wayne Carner
Wayne Carner, Christiansburg, VA Mixer Driver, was named Safe "Rookie" Driver of the Year. Wayne was selected from a group of 8 nominees. The other finalist for this award was Rex Burgess, Jefferson Mixer Driver.
The Safe "Rookie" Driver of the Year is designed to recognize drivers with less than 5 years but more than 12 months of service as a mixer driver.
Paul Hillyard
Paul Hillyard, Danville, VA Block Delivery Driver, was named Safe Delivery Driver of the Year. Paul was selected from a group of 6 nominees. The other finalist for this award was Junious Harris, Roxboro, NC.
The Safe Delivery Driver of the Year recognizes those with more than 12 months of service who drive delivery vehicles other than mixer trucks.
